My Worst Day WW2 is a first-person shooter designed by Rune Trollebo. Now, Rune is not a developing company, he is just one person.
The game puts you in the role of a Norwegian saboteur dropped onto an island to destroy two cannons. There are about 250 enemies on the island, and to make things worse, your explosives have been stolen by the Germans. So you are a lone soldier trying to beat the odds.
The game's graphics are not top-notch, but they are good enough. The sound, though, is somewhat bad, as you cannot locate the source of a sound and this can be annoying. There is also a sniper mode, where you have to take into account the wind, range and even your heart beat. It is clear the game wants to be more a combat simulation than an action shooter. It does that in a good fashion. This game may not be recommended for everyone, but you have the option to try it. In any case, just being made by one person is good enough for 4 stars.
